yoga continues to inspire my life on this quest for truth, contentment, and love for all beings. i feel extremely blessed, and my hope is to share the blessings and knowledge i receive along this path, helping others to find the peace, acceptance, and the love that i have found within.
i trained with the amazing teachers of 7 centers yoga arts in Sedona, AZ. where they gifted me the tools and resources to begin a self practice. immediately following that training, with little to no experience, my intense passion, a vision, and a divine force guiding me, i was led to open the yoga hut. the space was created to continue my practice from within and in return, gift that practice to others. i share what i receive from the practice. yoga itself is the real teacher, and you, your own guru. Dharma Mittra would be the first one to tell you that. He will constantly and humbly say, "I am no different than you." How could DHARMA MITTRA say that? Because the light from within is the same in all beings. The only difference is one's level of receptivity. i first met dharma in feb. of 2004. It took me 2 years and a couple of windy roads to finally meet him again, this time feb. 2006 at his home center, Dharma Mittra Yoga, New york City. The moment I walked in, I knew I was home and I knew Dharma was the one. I was stunned- and certain in the same moment. Dharma is "duty" or "life purpose". Mittra is"friend to all". Dharma Mittra is a friend to all that will guide you towards realizing your life's purpose. Dharma Mittra is a true preceptor, one that will carry you along the path until you find your own stride. He will never judge you or not love you. He will only encourage you to remain consistent and patient while you seek self knowlegde. And if one does not have the desire for liberation, he will encourage you to desire the desire for self realization. For with it, enormous freedom and happiness follow. Because of Dharma, i have learned to remove the ego and allow the real teachers work through me. My best work is facilitated when there is no "I" but rather and " I AM"-ness that interprets the practice as i become more pure and therefore, open to recieve. i offer you this space in which to surrender, reconnect, heal, study, and remember the source of all things within. welcome.
